Our favourite staff qualities

Our staff team’s favourite team quality is to be enthusiastic

Why being Enthusiastic is important at little hands:

Being enthusiastic is important because it creates a positive environment for our children. It encourages the children to be their authentic selves and to be outgoing and be creative regularly.

The children thrive from positive energy and this in turn supports them to have the most productive days.

At Little Hands we strive for our team to be fun, passionate, caring, kind and so so much more. We believe that enthusiasm is such a powerful part of the Early Years sector. All of the team here at Little Hands are enthusiastic about childcare and watching children grow and develop into confident, self assured people. All of our team have passions in a range of different areas, whether it be outdoor learning, special educational needs, implementation of the curriculum or exploring emotions. The whole team works and supports each other, working daily on fully embedding these passions into practice throughout the whole of the Little Hands family network.

“These qualities by far are our favourite here at Little Hands, as a member of management it’s so refreshing to see how enthusiastic the team are and how they support their peers to fully embed this passion into the day to day care of the children.” Sandie Rickson, Stourbridge Branch Deputy Manager

“This ethos is shared by a committed staff team. All staff speak to children with great warmth and kindness. Leadership in this nursery is inspirational. Staff carefully consider the different experiences children bring with them. They design a rich and ambitious curriculum that enhances children’s development. For example, they provide cooking classes, yoga, and mindfulness sessions. The quality of teaching is excellent and staff have a clear understanding of how children learn. As a result, they plan well-sequenced activities that successfully build on what children already know.” (Stourbridge branch Ofsted report, September 2023)
