What to bring to nursery

Having a comfortable and exciting day at nursery can definitely be aided by a well packed nursery bag. Lists can be never ending and knowing what to actually pack can definitely be confusing. We have a page dedicated to this on our website which gives you a great idea of the best items to pack depending on the age of your little one.

Bear hunts in the garden, making mud pies and water painting on our chalk board are encouraged all year round. To keep your child warm and participating in such adventures at Little Hands, it is useful for them to have wellington boots and a water resistant jacket/puddle suit whilst here with us.

Clothes walking away is a rarity at Little Hands, but we know it’s real! We know they like to hide from us or jump inside the wrong bags occasionally. Ensuring your little one’s clothes and items are labelled is a huge saviour in such circumstances and can help better care be taken all around. Great quality, easy to use and affordable name labels can be found here if you need any inspiration.

Check out this page on our website for full lists of what to pack in a nursery bag for colder months and again for the beautiful British summer.
